Vocab for cries?

I want to say "the fire goddess still cries for the god of war today." however I can't figure out how to say it so far I have " La diosa de fuego llora para el dios de guerra..." thanks in advance!

If you means to shout or to call out , it would be gritar. If you mean to shed tears that it is llorar.

Hasta hoy, la diosa del fuego aún llora por el dios de la guerra.
The syntax has to change slightly, but what you are trying to say is here.
