The word equipo (= team) is singular here and therefore the 3rd person singular cree should be used Equipo is singular, like the word gente (even though there are many people in the team)**

If you have to follow what your teacher said and use the verb pensar then you should conjugate it and use piensa (3rd person singular) to match equipo (3rd person singular)

I think what they want from you is to decide whether to use "piensa" or "piensan" depending on whether "equipo" is singular or plural.

So if the question is as above--using "equipo". Then the correct form of the verb would be "piensan" - dipietrok, May 30, 2011

Good answers! But Feliz77 is correct. Your first choice should be cree but you can also use piensa. In either case, it needs to be singular because a team is one thing, regardless of how many parts make up that one thing.
