Mistake in video?

Hello again,

I'm currently learning "kind of irregular preterite" lesson 2.8.

Paralee starts off by saying that we need to use the irregular IR/ER preterite endings without the tildes and no -i in the 3rd person singlular (-io becomes just o)

Straight away though I noticed that something was strange. IR/ER verbs use the letter -i for the 1st person singular endings not -e. The -e endings are for AR verbs such as hablar.

Why is such an obvious mistake there? Have I done something wrong??

Those are the regular endings for ER/IR verbs.

She is talking about irregular endings, such as with the verb venir:

No, I've just watched it again, I was was originally correct. She says we will use the irregular preterite endings for ER/IR verbs, which are the same as regular endings but without the tildes and without the -i in the -io - thus making it just -o.

Like I originally said in the post. Sorry if this sounds sarcy but I am frustrated...

Oh and I'm not even talking about the stem changing aspect. - jonski, May 26, 2011
