How would one say sunscreen in Spanish?

The bottles in the pharmacies in Salamanca, Spain say:
Fotoprotector SPF 30+ (50+, etc.)
here's a link [http://www.farmacialiceo.com/fotoprotector-isdin-spf-50-fusion-gel-body-100/]
At least in Spain, that'll get the job done.
Note: I tried looking fotoprotector up in the Real Academia Diccionario and it is NOT in there, so... take it with a grain of salt. Bloqueador IS in the Real Diccionario, but it just means anything that blocks (anything else) and bloquador solar IS NOT, but the combination of the two worlds does in fact amount to a direct translation of sunblock.
I think some others may translate "sunscreen" as protección solar or even pantalla solar but the latter may be confused with those materials or fabrics that can also be used to provide shade say over a patio... ![]()
Here in Baja there is a lot of sun and a lot of beautiful beaches and we call it bloqueador.
I would say bloqueador (solar), which strictly speaking is sunblock.
