Spanish Haiku?
Is there such a thing? And, better yet, is it more difficult than in English?
Examples welcome.

Yes, this is true, but when I was in grade school (somewhere around the Jurassic Period) we had to make up Haikus in English class. Ofcourse, we had to do it in English. Y'know, the 5-7-5 syllable count. NCISfan15 asks a valid question: Do schools in Central/South America cover Haikus in language/literature/poetry classes? I know that there is a significant Japanese minority in Peru.
I would love to see some examples of Spanish Haikus!! And yes! For me it would be more difficult than English because so many everyday words in Spanish have more syllables.

Yeah I made a bunch once. No one says haiku's are limited to Japanese, there are plenty of English ones.
