I just realised that the word educate is similar to adequate.

"Realizar" is a false friend. It only means "achieved", "materialized". Spanish has no single verb that meeans "to realise"; instead, you have to say "darse cuenta". What about "educado se parece a adecuado"? - lazarus1907, May 25, 2011
