Describing a picture, help appreciated.

Question

Hi guys, I have to do a speaking test as part of the level test for the course I want to do this summer, and i'll probably have to describe a picture, which I've never done before so I was hoping I could write a short description of this picture and you could tell me where I went wrong.

Hay dos mujeres vejas en el foto, y están mirando en unas flores. Una de las mujeres, la que está a la izquierda, lleva una camisa rosa y es más alto que la otra. La otra lleva una camisa azul y una jaqueta negra. Creo que están felices porque están sonriendo.

Probablemente están en un jardín publico o en un parque porque es muy grande y hay un camino ancho. Me parece que es verano porque el tiempo está bien. Quizás son ricas porque la mujer mas alta tiene joyas de oro. Pueden ser hermanas o amigas, no sé.

Creo que están jubilado y tiene mucha tiempo para mirar a las flores, a mí me gustaría vivir así, cuando estoy más vieja, si tuviera salud también.

That's about all I can think of to say about the picture, i hold no illusions about being able to say the same thing in real life with a stranger sitting in front of me taking notes! Thanks for any help you can give me.

Where, when, who, what are they doing

You should have started with placing the picture, then talk about the season and then about the people and what they are doing.

So, very simple, you don't have to be perfect:

En esta foto vemos un jardín probablemente en en mes de julio, el tiempo es muy bueno y hace sol.

El jardin es grande con muchos arbustos....

En la parte de alante vemos dos mujers mayores.

What do they look like, what are they doing? do they look happy, how does the picture make you feel?

We are doing the same thing with cogumela, she has to do the same in English for her exam
