In a text book there is a dialogue about some people going on holiday and they say where they went and what good time they had. One of the people says: ¿Qué tal el puente? to what the other person replies: ¡Genial! Lo pasamos bomba and then describes the trip just done in one of the sierras of Spain.

What does the question ¿Qué tal el puente mean in this dialogue?

We use "puente" when there are holidays next to a weekend. For example when Monday is holiday, you have 3 days to rest. We call this "puente"... Regards..
