Speak, speak, speak! I have found (and this has been agreed upon by every Spanish teacher that I have ever had) that the only way to really learn the Spanish language is to speak it and to use it every day. Of course things like vocabulary and verb conjugations are important in understanding what goes on "behind the scenes" and for building a good base for yourself, but speaking is crucial. This is my own personal opinion but I believe that a good indication of how well you know a language is how well you can carry on a conversation with a native speaker.

Also find out the best way that you learn by trying different techniques, and use that way.
