Question

I'm going to be in Menorca for a bit. I wonder if they sell disposable/cheap mobile phones in Spain? Has anybody tried getting an unlocked phone and buyinf a Spanish Sim card for pay as you go?

Any tips and tricks welcome

I've bought a cheap sim-free phone and unless someone can recommend a good uk source for a spanish sim card I'll probably just buy one when I get there

Thanks Heidi, pay-as-you-go is when instead of having a say, monthly contract you just "top up" pay a sum of money to keep the phone working on a week by week basis for example.

That's really helpful though as I'll probably get off the plane and head for the nearest phone shoop to fit a sim card. because I'll be using it sporadically I don't want an account just pay as you go which means when I don't use it it won't cost anything.
