So many points!

Question

It amazes me how many points that some people can rack up in a single week in SD! I thought I was doing good to get amost 6000 in one week.. and that was while I was off of work!

How can someone earn 40,000 points or more in one week?!

Congrats to those of you who can accomplish this.....

Talk about being "addicted" to SD! LOL

I would guess based on the delays built in between word changes and such, that it takes 6 to 10 minutes to go through 1000 points worth of words.

The larger the vocabulary one has would make a possibly major impact on the actual number of points gained of course.

My wrists don't hurt when I do flashcards, my back does.

I always wondered the same thing! I think my record is about 30,000 in one week and my wrists were murdering me after that . Some people are just amazing.

Yeah.. I know! I keep trying to get a perfect score on one of the lessons.. but I don't come close... it is almost impossible (even with high speed internet) for me to click on the right answer quick enough! - Gillygaloo, May 22, 2011

I accumulated a lot of lesson points when I was doing the lessons because I did 5 per day, but since then I haven't received many more because flashcards don't work for me. Different people learn in different ways, so you should do what works for you.

Jeezle gets more badges per week than I get per year.
