Well, depends on the listener; if she speaks/understands Spanish, she will smile for other reasons that the one intended. If she doesn't speak any Spanish, she may smile out of kindness and curiosity! :) - cristalino, May 21, 2011

Petardo in spanish applied to a person is "idiot, boring, tiresome, ugly", so I guess she will be mad as hellraspberry

Te ves muy bien hoy...trabajando contigo...petardo? (I don't know what's that!)...Estoy bien contigo? (I'm not sure about this sentence). Petardo means that Heidita? Ahhh! No, you won't make her smile with that! cool grin

If you are speaking to a co-worker, you could be in big trouble! Otherwise, it would make me smile. smile

I doubt that would make a couple of ladies here smile. It had to come straight from the translator.
