People call my dogs something that sounds like "límones" and I can't figure out exactly what they are saying--they are male labs if that helps. Anybody have any ideas?

Probably "limosneros" your dogs like to beg you for anything with their cute puppy-dog eyes. It works every time, doesn't it?

If they are anything like the one in the middle, perhaps they are comparing them to the extreme yellowish color of a "lemon?" Just a stab in the dark, but limón = lemon... maybe?
