Mango language program: Have you heard of this?

I just discovered that my public library has language programs offered by Mango in several languages, one of them being, Latin American Spanish. There are three courses offered for anyone with a Rhode Island library card. I would suspect many other states do this too. Has anyone heard of this language training method or used it? It is free as far as I can see. I am interested in any feedback you might have. Also, if your are interested in getting on the site, and live in Rhode Island or have a Rhode Island library card, please send me a PM and I will be glad to send you information about this site.

What I can see from their web page is that apparently they offer programs from Libraries, Government and Education - so that's probably what you found. For everyone else interested, it is a paid program. Seems to be relatively inexpensive, so it would be interesting to see if anyone has any opinions about it.

I took a few lessons last night. They were very basic, but that was the beginning. They have a lot of conversational stuff which is what I need right now. I was suprised to find it in my state; we usually don't have anything. Thanks, Gekkosan! - sanlee, May 20, 2011
