Como se dice ésta frase?

¿Como se dice: "I saw you walking in the park yesterday."?

Yo sé como decir "I saw... ...in the park yesterday" pero "you walking" me confunde.

Te vi andabas en el parque ayer.

"Endo" and "ando" endings are only used when describing current actions. For example, if you were watching a soccer game with someone you'd say to them, "Ellos están corriendo."

For the past, the verb that is in progress uses the imperfect form, while the verb that interrupts the action will take on the preterite form.

To clarify more. The present participle, i.e. "iendo" and "ando" endings, describe actions that are presently happening at the moment they are being discussed. That's why they are called present participles. You wouldn't say, "I saw you presently walking."

If I'm wrong can someone explain to me why, because this makes perfect sense to me, and this is the first group of people to tell me otherwise.
