If the car is inspected, then it could indeed already belong to someone. It would make sense to "return" it :-) - GuitarWarrior, May 19, 2011
Thanks, Warrior with only 2 "R's"... I don't use the word enough but would like to make sure I have the proper sense of "devolver." :) - cristalino, May 19, 2011
It has 3 R's my whole screen name won't fit - GuitarWarrior, May 19, 2011
@GW: I figured as much... just being coy... forgive my indulgence! :) - cristalino, May 19, 2011
I'm going to have to do something about my name. Lol :-) - GuitarWarrior, May 19, 2011
More indulgence on my part: Will "BanjoWarrior" fit? You gain one space that way! Sorry... jeje - cristalino, May 19, 2011
Ahaha jajaja!!! Nice idea Cristalino. I wonder if it has anything to do with a banjo having only 5 strings, while guitars have 6. The number of letters match that way :) - GuitarWarrior, May 19, 2011

When I take a closer look at the whole passage, it can be written like this.

Algo que tiene que ser supervisado antes de entregar

En un auto que tenga que ser supervisado, su trabajo necesitado está realizado por un especialista o supervisor antes de entregarse al cliente

In in automobile that needs to be supervised, it's needed work is done by a specialist or supervisor before being turned in to the client.

Entregar = to give, to offer, to turn in, to deliver

I wouldn't use entregarse here, and I would say delivered rather than turned in to. - lorenzo9, May 19, 2011
"turned into" would make things confusing, wouldn't it? - GuitarWarrior, May 19, 2011
