What does "tonto a pelo" mean?

I may not have this entirely correct. I was speaking with a spanish woman, whom I like a great deal, and we were making jokes as best as we could. She said to me something along the lines of "tonto a pelo" or "tu pelo a tonto".I can't quite remember which. Was she calling me an idiot? If so, what is the correct phrase? I am a little taken back by this .Please help.Gracias y Buena suerte.

The conversation had to do with jokes, not hair.Does that help? I wish I remembered the whole thing. - heliotropeman, May 18, 2011
I used tanto instead of tonto .Could that be it? - heliotropeman, May 18, 2011

Ha, she could have said "te peleo, tonto" but that would be much worse than the first thing.

Not a clue hat she meant, without the rest of the sentence, but she was saying something about your hair.

You sure she didn't say "tanto pelo"? Tanto = so much. Tonto = idiot. Tanto pelo = hairy, lots of hair.
