No hay que olvidar las maravillosas galerías de arte de Madrid y sus museos. El más famoso es el Museo del Prado, que alberga una de las mejores colecciones del mundo de arte europeo del siglo XII al siglo XIX del mundo y está situado en el Paseo del Prado. Sin embargo, existe también el museo de arte moderno Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (donde se puede ver el Guernica de Picasso ) y el Museo Thyssen – Bornemisza ubicado en el renovado Palacio de Villahermosa, cerca del Museo del Prado. That is my attempt, the only one I could have answered confidently without the context of the passage is museo. Context allows you to at least make a good guess of something which makes sense.

One should also not forget Madrid’s wonderful art galleries and museums. The most famous is “Museo del Prado” which hosts one of the finest collections of European art from the 12th Century to the 19th Century in the world and is located in “Paseo del Prado”. However there is also the modern art museum “Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía” (where you can see Picasso’s “Guernica”) and “Museo Thyssen – Bornemisza” housed in the renovated Villahermosa Palace near to the Prado Museum. These three have collectively become known as “The Golden Triangle of Art”.
