Which Browser do you prefer to use for SpanishDict?

Question

I have always liked Firefox and I use it 99% of the time. The only other Browser installed on my computer at the moment is IE9 (which just upgraded from IE8).

I never particularly liked Safari or Chrome.

Which do you use for this site... and is there any reason why?

I use Firefox. I also have Chrome but I find Firefox so much more user-friendly . I haven't used IE for years.

Just to let everybody know: Explorer does NOT work on this site.

I use Firefox, but I also have Chrome open at all times, sometimes firefox slows down so I just swap over to Chrome

(is that swap here??)

I switched to Chrome after IE gave me a lot of problems with this site, and haven't had any regrets. It's a great brower, although it jumps on the translation page sometimes. (Although I only use that as a starting place when I'm really, really confused about something so no matter).

I like firefox, too. I would not use I E ever again. I think firefox is good for this site.

The one thing I liked about IE was that it made a small "click" sound when you, well, clicked on something. I absolutely hated that Firefox didn't do that when I first switched over. Now I don't miss it anymore. - Tosh, May 18, 2011

@Tosh, on the other hand, IE (even version 8!) makes clicks on automatic redirects, too...so sometimes you click once and the webserver redirects you several times and your PC is suddenly making machine gun noises. :D - webdunce, May 18, 2011

I use Firefox too. A friend tried to win me over to use Chrome but I didn't like its presentation without being able to pinpoint just why I didn't like it. Just seemed like a lesser version of Firefox to me.

Yes I hated the click as well! , I have it downloaded still, just for emergencies, when Firefox wouldn't open.

And Google Chrome?...pfft! Seriously? Spanish Dict crashed it on me and it won't even open a web page anymore! It just loves crashing!

Anyway, GO FIREFOX!!!

Was it one of the earlier launches of Chrome? I tried it and it was really buggy and constantly crashed. It's really pretty good now--they've got all the kinks like that worked out. - liz_ellis, May 18, 2011

Well, I'm not sure why!

I think Firefox is better because I can use the bookmarks toolbar easier and I like the full screen function.

OK-people are saying Firefox, and IE doesn't work on this site, but it does for me, and I always prefer IE, so I don't know. It is a bit slower, but it also feels more familiar. Wow, that sounded crazy. XD

Firefox 3. Firefox 4 doesn't work properly for me at all.

I don't know how anyone can tolerate IE, even without all its other flaws the loading time for pages is infuriating. If I'm paying for a fast connection I want fast internet!

If I didn't rely so heavily on Firefox extensions I'd use Opera, it seems to be the best.
