Cinco = 5

My teacher said they really don't selebrate it in Mexico; it is more of a US things. She grow up in Mexico.

That´s right. El 5 de mayo is a famous battle in Puebla against the French, which in the US is mistakenly celebrated as Mexican independence from Spain. Independence day is 16 September and in Mexico there are great celebrations - 005faa61, May 17, 2011
