do I use tener or estar? 1) él tenía muy miedo y preocupado. 2) él estaba muy miedo y preocupado.
the word "scared" in this sentence can I use miedo instead of asustado?

él tenía muy miedo. = He and not others had very fear
él estaba muy miedo. = He and not others was very fear
You have to say "tenía mucho miedo y estaba preocupado" (he had a lot of fear) or "estaba muy asustado y asustado" (he was very frightened and worried)
I have translated "él" as "he and not others" because pronouns are used for contrastive purposes, so if we don't intend to make a contrast, we don't use them.
