No, but whoever wins gets a thread![]()
Our super champion is swampy, with 3M learning points:)
The point isn't to have as many points as possible but to L E A R N the language.
All the learning points you gain won't be of any value to you in the future if you do not .apply whatever Spanish you may have learnt to new situations you find yourself in.
The points system is only one means of encouraging you to learn more Spanish and or English and keep learning but the reality is that each person needs to develop an intrinsic (inward) motivation from the heart and not become dependent on a system that is like awarding children stickers at school The competition is not between individual members here but so that you can keep some kind of track of your own progress.

If you see it (or anyone else sees it) as a competition between you and others you may find you could either become proud and look down on others who have less points than yourself or become disheartened when you see others who are miles ahead of you in points. This could easily make make it hard for you or anyone else to make friends with other more experienced members who could otherwise help you.
We have a lovely community Spirit here at SpanishDict which we all want to preserve and do not wish for it to become tainted by an excessively competitive spirit between members
We are not in a competition. And if their were a prize to be had. It would be fluency in the language.
If you notice somebody does not vote you right away. It is his perrogative to revisit the thread when others have answered before making his votes anonymously. Maybe he voted you after all.
Have fun and learn much my friend.
