New old story 4
This part of the story is exciting, so most of it is preterit tense. I hope that is right. However, I don't think anyone is really interested, so maybe this will be the last part.
Durante el resto de la semana, las historias sobre el joven sastre crecían muy elaboradas y más halagadoras porque su amigo tenía un vívida imaginación y una gran afición por una conversatión. El domingo en la Misa, el sastre llevaba un serio negro traje; los simpatizantes lo rodearon. Despues del servicio, fue al Don Felicidados y le dijo que tuvo un nuevo cuello de las camisas.
" Por favor, pase de tienda a ver si usted le gusta." el sastre dice.
" ¿En el domingo?" preguntó Don Felicidados.
"Oh, solamente decidir sí usted abrobas. Creo que le va a gustar." el sastre respondió.
Así que fue a la tienda donde el viejo se sentó en el lugar fresco y detrás de la puerta mientras el sastre traió una camisa. Al eso momento, un poderoso y feo hombre conocido por su brutalidad y sus crimenes y resaca con beber la noche de sábado irrumpió en la tienda.
" ¡Así! Oigo que es un tipo duro!" gritó y atacó el sastre. El pobre sastre levantó las manos y cerró sus ojos. Don Felicidados, invisible detrás de puerta, metió su bastón entre las piernas de bruto. El mató cayó pesadamente y su cabeza golpeó primero las manos de sastre y segundo el mesa cortante. Su cuello fue roto.

Well done Lector, I just had a look at the first paragraph and there seem to be a couple of little things that I would check 
- bear in mind that I'm still learning too so definitely wait for some more suggestions or clarification

I'm not sure about shirt sing + collars pl something needs fixing there too I think

Ah, yes, I do have this story in English - but only in outline form. I "flesh out" some details just before I start to translate each part. I am doing this from memory of the story as my mother read it to me (and mi hermanita) 65 years ago. It was illustrated with line drawings and was quite a bit longer and more involved than the version which I just read in Spanish.
Kiwi, yes, I looked at my patterns for shirts and it would be correct to use the plural of collar even talking about a single shirt - look at any collar you have; you will see that it is the same, top and bottom. The two parts are called the collars (until they are stitched together). Muchas gracias for your kind comments! I think that before I do the next few paragraphs, I will need to ask for some input from my S.D. buddies - I have thought of about 4,271 things I need to know to complete this project!

despues del servicio - oh, good! I keep looking for use of "del", now I caught me one!

I'm not sure about shirt sing + collars pl something needs fixing there too I think smile this is difficult too - I am talking about the placket at the neck of a pull-over shirt - and there is no translation for placket - which is the two side of an opening.... I remember distinctly (from 65 years ago), the tailor wanted to put laces into the neck opening
