Te tengo el ojo echado
I have my eye on you? Looks like I have my eye thrown at you. (cast your way I guess?) is this an idiom? Gracias.

This is an conjugated form of the idiom "Echar ojo."
It´s usually used in a more simple construction, ie "Échale ojo" ..... "Look at/watch him/her"
Or another form "Ojo con ....." ,,,,,, "Watch out for........"
"Te tengo el ojo echado", "Te tengo el ojo echa'o" is commonly used in Puerto Rico to mean "I have my eye on you", I'm keeping an eye on you", "I'm watching you".
Are you sure it's not - te tengo echado el ojo? as in checking someone out.
I think 'having or keeping your eye on someone', like a boss monitoring work or something would be 'no te quito ojo' - but I'm sure you'll get a better answer if you wait a bit lol ![]()
