¿Qué quiere decir "se menea"?

I've heard something that sounds like "se menea" in a few songs, salsa and mambo, I think. Does anyone know what this means? Is it used all in Mexico and Central America?

Hola, Intense!

¡Menéalo!- Shake it! Wiggle it!

¡Menea la colita! - Shake that behind!

El perro meneaba su cola - The dog wagged its tail.

It can also mean, based on context: fidgeting, jerk off, and to hurry up

Thanks Tom for teaching the English equivalent. I saw the definition "wiggle" but in English it is very cutesy and I thought something was lost in translation. - Intense, May 20, 2011
Thanks Tom for pointing out the thread. I found it and got more good info. - Intense, May 20, 2011

It is pretty much the same in any country. Check "menear" and find out how this type of 'se' is used.

Thanks Cristalino. I thought I looked it up and only saw "wiggle", but apparently I was using Translation. I just looked it up again and saw more. - Intense, May 20, 2011
