How to start a sentence with "whether"

Question

I'd like to start a sentence with "Whether you need advice on" this or that. Can I say "Si usted necesita consejo sobre"...? Or must I use the subjunctive, as in "Si usted necesite consejo sobre"...? Gracias.

You use indicative if the condition is possible or likely. That "whether" here can also be expressed as:

Tanto si necesita consejo sobre esto o no... (Whether you need my advice or not...)

If you won't want that "or not", then simply say "Si necesita..."
