muy y fui--como dice muy?

Question

In the lesson, la profesora pronuncia muy como moi, y no similar com la "ui" en fui. She's not a native speaker, so it cd be her false accent. I find her ls don't have the lilt of the Spanish liquid one, either. Que piensas?

However, the stress on the Y of Muy is weaker than the stress of the I of Fui.

Sounds are perceived differently by different people, so I suppose you could say this. But saying it short or long, it´s still a matter of stress - 005faa61, May 16, 2011

"Muy" is pronounced "Moo - eee", and "fui" is pronounced "F-weee". The "wee" sound is not heard in "muy", the "u" is stressed and sounds like "Mooo" like a cow.

The correct pronuntiation is like "fuí" and "huí" but with no accent at "i".

By the way, just to help you, you would say, in Spanish ¿Cómo se dice? (=How do you/does one say?) not como dice

or, you could say ¿Cómo se pronuncia? (How do you/does one pronounce?)
