Well, just a meagre attempt:
Estar en el lado del amor y reconocer el amor con coraje
Now this sounds a bit weird in Spanish, tell you the truth I am not all that sure what you mean....
It's UU's motto for their support of all marriage, whatever the sexual orientation of the two participants.
It's very important that these TWO mottoes be translated well -- and separately.
Ok, we should have started there.
The UU is an international Church. Since these are mottoes of the Church, the logical and easiest thing is to check with the Spanish Speaking chapters how they're using it. Here is a good starting point.
I was able to determine, following that trail, that the Hispanic UU groups use these three variations of "Standing on the Side of Love":
"Estar en el lado del amor” (Being on the Side of Love)
"Estamos del Lado del Amor" (We are on the Side of Love)
"Del Lado del Amor" (On the Side of Love) - which is what I suggested.
I could not find how they might be using "Recognize Corageous Love", although perhaps a more detailed search will help you find it - or a quick call to one of the Churches.
My best translations would be: "Reconoce el Amor Valiente" (You Recognize it), or "Reconocemos el Amor Valiente" (We recognize it), or "Reconozcamos el Amor Valiente" (Let's recognize Corageous Love).
"Standing on the Side of Love" is very specific. It's UU's motto for their support of all marriage, whatever the sexual orientation of the two participants.
"Recognize Courageous Love" is a separate motto for events that celebrate specific instances of successful partnerships.
It's very important that these TWO mottoes be translated well -- and separately. I'm not all that experienced so I'll leave it to Heidita or one of the other experts to translate. I just wanted to stress that they're two different mottoes; that they can't be changed arbitrarily (or at all); and, therefore, the translations should be as true to the English as possible.
After getting the additional context, I'd say: Manteniéndonos al lado del Amoer, y Reconociendo el Amor Valiente.
As a motto, I'd make it simpler, though (I agree with Heidita that it sounds a bit odd in Spanish), and I'd just say: "En el Lado del Amor".

As opposed to ...being fear and hate based in ones approach to social issues. Thank you again for your help in this translation.
