What does "ir/ asistir de oyente" mean?
i know the individual meaning of these words but dont understand the meaing of this frase. "ir/asistir de oyente" all i know is that it fits into the category of vocabulario de los estudios. Any and all help is aprreciated.

To audit a class, as opposed to registering as a credit-seeking student.
When you get into a class, but you're not enroled in that course...
So, you get to listen to it, but get no credit...
