Hello Ibnhab and Welcome to the SpanishDict forum grin

Voy comes from the verb to go so.... Voy a trabajar = I am going to work

Me voy comes from the verb irse = to go away ( or to leave) Me voy a trabajar = I am leaving for work ( to go to work)

So they can both be correct as long as you use them correctly wink in the right context

When you use the verb ir you must include a destination you cannot just say voy a ir

You would have to say something like Voy a ir a la casa de mis padres

=I am going to my parent's house.

When you use the verb irse no destination is required you can just say Me voy = I am going away / leaving

I hope that helps grin

Corregid mi español, por favor grin

que es el correcto ??

El correcto es el que no tiene errores. Estás preguntando cuál es la definición de "el correcto". Tienes que preguntar "¿Cuál es el correcto?

Cuando estoy hablando con otra persona, es correcto si digo "'' me voy a trabajar ''o 'voy a trabajar ??

Los dos son correctos.

Both of ''the'' sentences :) - FELIZ77, May 14, 2011
Trabajar is an infinitive and ir is being used as an auxilliary, not as meaning to go. Irse cannot be used that way. - lorenzo9, May 15, 2011

Voy (ir) implies more of a destination, while Me voy (irse) doesn't, but more of a starting point. Irse might be better translated as 'to leave'.
