How do you known when to use te or le?
I sometimes see le used when I thougt it should be te.

Learning the different pronoun forms is confusing so I made a handy one page worksheet which I will share with you by clicking on the link below:
Le = him/her/it (indirect object)
Te = you (direct/indirect object)
If someone is being formal, 'le' can be used to mean 'you'. It's used in the same situations as 'usted'.
"Le" can be used to politely refer to "usted" (instead of "tú"), which is a third person pronoun even though you use it to address someone directly. The verb should also be in the third person.
