My Spanish friend wanted to know what this sentence from the Beyonce song (Single Ladies) meant. The grammar had me stumped.

Si te gustó, le deberías poner un anillo. ????

What would you suggest as a translation? Thanks!

To start off, I will say I like your question. Anyway, the line has such uneducated English that it is hard to translate it. And, really, without the music video, or the rest of the song, you have a sketchy idea of what Beyonce means. So, I typed the phrase in on the translation tab here, and I got: Si te gusta, entonces debería haber un anillo en ella. Hope it helps!
