Hi, if I want to say "It is summer in South Africa and there is a Christmas celebration" would I use ser or estar?
I think summer is a pretty permanent so I presume it is ser, but I'd just like to check.

It's "es verano". If you are in South Africa, you can also say "estamos en verano".
