Question about 'it'
'My mobile phone is very important to me, I don't know what I would do without it'....mi teléfono móvil es muy importante para mí no sé qué haría sin el....(Rest of my post did not come up)...basically the question i am asking is: is there another way to say 'it' in this sentence? I got this translation off of the translation machines and I have never been taught ending a sentence in 'el' before...I was always taught that 'el' meant him/ he. Is there any way of putting the direct object pronoun 'lo' in that sentence? If so where? That's what I am most used to using & would feel most comfortable using but just can't figure out where to put it........2nd question....I am always sending text messages to my friends and checking my emails....siempre estoy mandando mensajes de texto a mis amigos y revisar mi correo electronico...Got this translation off the machine...what I do not understand is why does 'revisar' go in the infinitive and not the gerund? ie 'ing'

Sin él is the right word
... sin él.
