"lo" for the english "you"?
Question on grammar. Is "lo" ever used for the english "you"? I'm reading a spanish medical book and there is a phrase: "We need to admit you (male)." "Necesitamos internarlo/admitarlo." Why would it not be "le"? Typo perhaps? Thanks for any answers.

Le is for indirect objects. "We need to admit you (male)" only has a direct object lo (male).
