Our lives were good. You can say our lives were good, but NOT our times were good right?

Our times were good = Lo hemos pasado bien juntos. (pasárselo bien)

But it DOES work for lives right?

Nuestras vidas eran buenas. Doesn't it? I wonder why lives and not times can work like that, I suppose time can only pass by being spent well, as opposed to that time being good. (just a stomach can't feel bad, but you can feel bad...... in the stomach.)

Sounds good to me.

"Nuestras vidas eran buenas" sounds rather odd to me too. I personally would never say such a thing myself. Alternatives: "Disfrutamos nuestra vida"...

I agree. Some alternatives: vivíamos bien, llevamos unas buenas vidas, tuvimos una buena vida... - Gekkosan, May 7, 2011
