I foolishly twisted my ankle and broke it on Wed. evening. Yesterday afternoon I had surgery to put the pieces back together. Once I'm feeling better I'll have plenty of free time to work on my Spanish. Until then, I'll be taking lots of naps.

I think that you should start a vocabulary set concerning the adventure:
crutches, ruined shoes that they cut off you, expensive hosiery down the drain, splints, annoying othopedics, ambulances, cute doctors, bed rest, L O T S of pain medications, that annoying little bell to have someone bring you tea, insurance, medical bills, plans to have the health care bill repealed, number of dots on the ceiling over your bed, asking the insurance company why pedicures aren't covered, having the kids shipped off to the grandparent's, M O R E pain medication, all the phrases that we normally don't think about.
So sorry I missed this thread Leatha. I hope the pain diminishes soon and that you will be able to stay awake long enough to study Spanish with us! ![]()

I hope you are feeling much better, Leatha. That is no fun. I wish you a speedy recovery!

Get well, soon!
Our best wishes for you and I hope you'll be much better and improve your communication skills ![]()
