Context: This is graded homework. I have to answer the questions using complete sentences, from my personal experience. We are using present indicative tense. Again, I hope you can find a way to use this for your own individual learning. Please correct my English and Spanish.

I am returning to Parkland College in the fall 2011 and attend Spanish 102.
2 ¿A quiénes visitas frecuentemente? (Context: my family) No veo a mis hermanos mucho. I don't see my siblings very much. They are very busy. My oldest sister comes to Urbana once a year for the Illinois State button convention. Sometimes, I see her at that special occasion.
3 ¿Qué traes a la clase? Wanda y yo tenemos muchas cosas traer. Wanda and I have many things to bring. In our backpack we bring books, notebooks, pens and pencils, a magnifier, and Wanda's reading glasses. ¡Really, it is very heavy!
Right now, we have homework everywhere! On my table, on Wanda's table, on the walls, and on the floors. We are returning to class and are prepared for the final Spanish 101 exam, I hope!
5 ¿Sales con tus padres a comer? Salgo con a comerlos. I leave to eat with them.

Numero 5. Could you put Sí, salgo con mis padres a comer.

Also on numero 4, if you haven't had the subjunctive yet, I would use the present indicative.

Wanda and I are returning to the class and are prepared for the final Spanish 101 exam. We hope to have good grades.

Yes, #5 would have been fine per your thoughts! - bandit51jd, May 6, 2011
I think I see your thoughts for #4. "se preparan" is basically being replaced with "we are preparing". I guess my thought "I hope" isn't being accepted! I still think it's okay because it's a subject and verb and therefore a complete sentence? - bandit51jd, May 7, 2011
Yes, well what do you hope? Espero tener una buena nota..I hope to have a good grade... or Espero que sí... I hope so..It's just a little more complete of a thought, I think. - sanlee, May 7, 2011

Hi Bandit, We really need a native speaker to check these, but until that person gets here, here are my guesses about your sentences.

  1. otoño "de" 2011

  2. sobre la mesa (vs. en)

  4. Salgo para comer con ellos.

I numbered these 1, 4, 4, 5 to correspond with your sentences. I did it several times! Computer thinks it knows best :) - Sabor, May 6, 2011
salir con=to go out with, to date Do you go out with your parents to eat? - 0074b507, May 6, 2011
Q, "Salgo con a comerlos" ? Your help would be appreciated :) - Sabor, May 6, 2011
I just sent Q a PM. In it I changed my English sentence to "I leave with them to eat¨ so my next Spanish attempt is ¨Sí, salgo con comerlos.". - bandit51jd, May 6, 2011
Gracias, Sabor for helping. This is due by midnight my time and I'm also jumping up and down helping my roomate, too! - bandit51jd, May 6, 2011
I think that the present indicative is fine, Bandit, especially if you haven't had the subjunctive yet. - sanlee, May 6, 2011
Thanks, Sanlee, It's a done deal now as it is past midnight! - bandit51jd, May 6, 2011
