Who pays "compensación" here ?
Could you please tell me the exact meaning of this sentence, because machine translators cannot be understood ? "El autor hace notar la compensación que existe, cuando relaciona el sacrificio de la colmena a los machos, con el del macho por la colmena en el momento del vuelo nupcial."

The author notes that there is compensation, as it relates the sacrifice of the hive to males with the male for the beehive at the time of nuptial flight
That was from google translate. I think it is trying to say that Male bees (the worker bees) sacrifice themselves for the good of the hive. Either that or the 'nupital flight' is probably when they all try and get in on some of that queen bee action ![]()
Muchos gracias.
