He says "adiós amiga, no llegamos a voltizarte".

He is NOT saying no llegamos a olvidarte. But is IS saying something that means , we aren't going to come to forget you, or something like that. What word could voltizar be?

The only word that makes sense to me that could sound like that is "bautizarte" - baptize you. But without further context, I can't imagine how that would fit in there.

"Voltizarte",of course, is not a Spanish word.

Jeezle:

I do not know in what context the remark was made or what may have preceded the remark. So, this is just an idea. Explore the possibility that the verb you want is

(1) - voltear which in the Andes or Caribbean may mean, among other things, to force somebody to change his mind.. Or, consider

(2) - voltearse which may mean to change one's allegiance or to go over to the other side. However, based on your question, the use of a pronominal verb is much less likely.

Have a look here for Voltear/voltearse.

No, bautizar works. Thanks though. - jeezzle, May 4, 2011
We aren't going to baptize (use you) after all. (like a ship, baptize a ship, an item, etc) - jeezzle, May 4, 2011
Ahh... I *needed* to know how that word fitted in there! :) - Gekkosan, May 4, 2011
