I listen to this song on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fna_X2QFqXQ&feature=relmfu but I don't understand what the title means. The meaning of the title loses its sense when I translate it word for word, so there must be a different meaning to the expression. Clarification would be much appreciated. Thanks.

"The flame went out." That's the translation I would choose. I'm assuming the song is actually entitled "Se apagó la llama."

The problem is that most of these sites do machine translations and punctuation and meaning goes out the window.
