"tener calor" is quite negative, and it usually means "to be roasted, too hot" To say "to be warmer" we'd use "estar más calentitas" or "no pasar frío" Well done, Fidalgo! :) - cogumela, May 4, 2011

Be master of your petty annoyances and conserve your energies for the big, worthwhile things. It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you out - it's the grain of sand in your shoe.

When I skate my shoes wear down so fast that there is a hole on the sole of each one and sometimes water or stones get into them.

If the shoe fits wear it. A common idiom, I'm not sure it translates well.
