Hello Cadie and Welcome to the SpanishDict forum and website ![]()
You want to learn Spanish quickly? Quickly is a relative term ...how quickly do you mean...in days, weeks, or months? 10 days 3 weeks 7 months?
Do you want to start learning quickly or do you mean that you are in a hurry to achieve some degree of proficiency in Speaking and writing this beautiful language? The higher the level of proficiency you want to attain the longer it takes to reach that level.
If you simply want to be be able to exchange greetings ie say hello and How are You, ask someone's name, ask questions like where is the (....) hotel/bathroom/airport ? You could lprobably learn that in 2- 4 days or less but if your desire is to be able to be hold a basic conversation you could be talking 7 - 12 months unless you plan to go to live in the country and/ or take an intensive immersion course in Spanish while living and working there. in which case you could learn enough in 4-5 months It all depends on several factors: your motivation to learn, experience in learning other languages, inate ability, and above all how you learn. You will be likely to learn any language more rapidly by going to live in a country where you hear it spoken avery day!
Please may I ask you, without meaning to be rude, what is your hurry to learn and what is your reason for wanting to learn Spanish...for a holiday, for business, or perhaps so that you can start a new life in a Spanish speaking country?

You can go to a good community college were you can learn and take some classes. After you got all the grammar down and stuff...take conversational Spanish classes. Check it out with your company most of the time they will pay for your classes.
And then...
Do not be shy. Use what you learn. Practice, practice and practice!
Learn and get into the culture.
Travel to Spanish speaking countries.
Hang out with people and make friends.
Do not take it personal when someone tries to help you!
Watch TV listen to music in Spanish. Netflix has a good variety of Spanish language movies and you can choose the country also.
Good luck!
Please have a look at former threads, thanks a lot for making a search![]()
