I am perplexed a bit. How do I know if one is speaking of music or a (female)musician? They are both extrememly similar nouns. If put in a sentence, you might not know the difference. Someone help?

The context matters. Like in English if you take hte word

pen

this could mean a biro or an area for todlers to run around. The only way you can decipher is through the context.

Its very likely to be down to the context of the sentence, it will be distinguishable from that.
