When breaking a promise is a good thing.....:)

Question

You can put this story in the "strange-but-true category. A teacher from the west coast of the United States vowed that he would not shave his beard.....but for how long?

We have all been hoping and praying for Osama Bin Laden to be brought to justice, but this man promised to let his beard grow until this was accomplished. Originally he thought this might take a month or two. I'm sure his wife did too! .

But to this man, a promise is a promise. His poor wife. I think I would have personally flown to Pakistan to help in the search if I had to look at that beard every day!!!!

How are you at keeping promises? I know that nothing bad would have happened if he had shaved his beard, but do you admire Gary or think this was just a crazy thing to do? Remember....he is a teacher!
