Correct translation for "She put on jeans and a t-shirt to clean the house."

Question

Did I translate this sentence into Spanish correctly?:

"She put on jeans and a t-shirt to clean the house."

"Ella se vista de jeans y una camiseta para limpiar la casa."

Also, I was going to use "She is wearing jeans..." or "She wore jeans...", but when I looked up the translation for "wear", the verb "usar" popped up. And, from what I read, this verb (usar) doesn't get used when referring to clothing. I think I read this answer someone posted previously, that in Spanish the term "se vista" (put on) is used instead of "wearing".
I would like to know if that is correct. Gracias!

I would use ponerse instead of vestirse (vestirse de means wear rather than put on) and I wouldn't use the subjunctive.

I agree with Lorenzo - Se puso los jeans y una camiseta...

It's the difference between putting on and wearing.
