I am translating an article about sea turtles and I am having trouble finding translations of species names, and other terms such as hatchling (not related to birds, but to turtles). "Diamondback Terrapin" "Hatchling" "Hawksbill" etc...

I suggest you go to Wikipedia, and find the animal you wish in English. Then click the link for Spanish, and if it exists, you get the Spanish version of the same article, Spanish names included. Example: Diamondback Terrapin.

A turtle hatchling, by the way, is a "tortuguillo".

I checked that list out quite thoroughly but failed to find the

I don't know. She is amphibious. Did you look under marine or land turtles? - 0074b507, May 2, 2011

Well, I checked a few of the links given in that list and noticed this:

Listing of the scientific name, the Spanish name, the English name, the German name and the French name for the turtle at that link..

You could google for articles written in Spanish like "especies de tortugas", but I don't know how much it will help. Species names are in Latin, neither English nor Spanish.
