Spanish Joke: Twisted Vocabulary

I am leaving the category for this as "Vocabulary and Grammar", because although it is a list of silly jokes - or rather, wordplay, it does contain a fair bit of Spanish Vocabulary.

I also think it is a very good exercise to try and figure out why the jokes work, and what they mean!

This is not a translation exercise, although you may post questions about the jokes, and you can offer additional puns or wordplay that you may know, if you wish.

Have fun!

Okay, I'm slow. At first glance, I didn't get this at all. But once I read the words aloud, it all became clear. Very fun. Thank you for stretching my antiquated brain!

substitute "té" for "te" in the expression "te extraño" and see if you don't get the pun. :) - Izanoni1, May 1, 2011

Great! I actually got them all except "BERRO: Bastor Alebán," which I'll have to look up.

Yeah - this joke's been around for a long time, and variously attributed to the Dummy of the Day. :) - Gekkosan, May 1, 2011
