Help! Disastrous Spanish project needs a lot of work.
This is the final project for my Spanish class. I used this website to translate a very large part of it, and given the reactions I've had from the few native Spanish speakers I asked to proofread it for me, it does not read well (and this does not bode well for my grade). If someone would help me proofread this I would be incredibly grateful.
Here is the Spanish version (there are no accent marks-sorry! This was only my draft and I intend to translate it to paper when I'm done):
Entry A: Me llamo es Heidi Womack. Soy un natural de Arizona y creci en Prescott. Mi padre tambien crecio en Arizona y vivio promixo el Canyon Grande cuando el estuven un nino. Mi madre se mudo su casa de California a Arizona. Tengo dos hermanas menor. Uno de mis hermanas tambien vas a Yavapai Colegio. Fui un escuela pequeno de Prescott Valley llamarse Franklin Phonetic. Este escuela era siempre obra de teatro y conciertos asi estuve en el clase de teatro y banda. Jugaba de flauta. Tambien conoci mi major amiga de este escuela en tres grado. Despues medio escuela fui a Bradshaw Mountain High Schoo por a unos pocos meses. No me gustaba, asi saque y empeze acudir a Yavapai Colegia. En un pricipio, desia ser un abogada. Despues cambiando mi especialidad muchos veces, pienso desear ser un ingeniero chemial. Algunos de mis pasatiempos includian sacando fotos de mis mascotas, escribiendo, y senderismo. Deseo puedo estes cosas mas, paro necesito pagar muchos horas estudiando y trabajando.
Entry B: Argentina es un pais segundo grande de todo los pais de Sudamerica despues Brazil con un poblacion mas de 40 millon. Esta un muy bonita pais y tenga muchos variedad de climas y habitats. En la norte el tiempo es mucho calor y humedo en los veranos y beningo en los inviernos. El centro de Argentina is mucho calor en el verano con muchos tormentas. El region del sur de Argentina esta calor en el verano para mucho frio en el invierno. La punta mas al sur de Argentina es cerca de Antartica asi ustedes reciban mucho nieva. La comida de Argentina es tambien muy diversida y tenga Europea, indigena, y Creole influencias. Alguno comidas popular includian chorizo, locro (un comida teniendo un mexcla de maiz, frijoles, carne, tocino, cebollas, y calabazas), empanadas, y facture (un torta de Viena). La bebida extraoficial de Argentina es yerba mate. Tambien Argentina tiene el mas consumo de carne rojo en todo el mundo. Porque de belleza natural de Argentina, esta mucho parques de natura en la pais. Dos de mas popular parques son el Parque Nacional Iguazu y el Parque Nacional Los Glacieres. El Parque Nacional Iguazu tiena la belleza Rio Iguazu y es habitat de muchos animals, incluyendo jaguares. La principal atraccion de el Parque Iguazu es las Cataratas Iguazu. Entry C: Negro Cisne es una pelicula dirigia de Darren Aronofsky. Lo fue en teatro este envierno. Este pelicula sobre de la vida de una joven bailarina llamarse Nina. Nina recibo la principal parte de la Negro Cisne en un nueva obra en se Compania de Ballet. Ella necesita representar el parte de dos personajes muy diferente. Un esta inocente y simpatico para la otra personaje es malo y manipuladora. La estres de representarse dos personajes mas diferente empeza hacer Nina pequeno loca. Eres un otra bailarina llamarse Lily en la Compania de Ballet de Nina y Nina pienso ella es un rival. Nina es obsesionada con Lily y tener evidia de la despreocupada personalidad de Lily. La madre de Nina pudo muchas presiones de Nina ser un bailarina muy famosa, y el jefe de Nina es siempre diciendo Nina no lo suficientemente bueno por un parte de Negro Cisne asi ella es siempre preocupada sobre fallando su familia y su jefe. En el fin de la pelicula, Nina totalmente pierde su mente. Su representacion en la obre es perfecta, pero ella murio en el fin. Entry D: El libro Call of the Wild fue escribia en 1903 de Jack London. El libro es sobre un perro pera lo es escribia desde el punto de vista del perro. El perro, llamarse Buck, es tuvia desde su familia a la Yukon. El es poner a trabajar tirando trineos. Buck empeza tener diverter trabajando en el frio norte despues veces meses pero estuve mas partes en el libro que muestran como violenta vida en la Yukon fue por el. En un punto Buck mato un perro rival. Buck aprendo se apoyar en este ambiente hostil pero el no tiene un familia en el norte hasta un hombre, John Thornton, salvarle de la muerte. Entry E: Fue joven mi major amiga Kelsey y yo pagabamos mayor de nos tiempo libre juntos. Nos era siempre fuimos a aventuras y creando mundos imaginarios. Una ventana nos decidimos hacer un castillo en un grande arbol cerca mi casa. Nos encontremos desamparado muebles y los llevemos a os castillo hacer un cocina. Nos tomemos veijos sabanas y los pusemos de los ramas hacer paredes. Despues unos dias de trabajemos nos finalmente traemos un castillo. Al final de ventana nos no podia jugar en os castillo nunca mas para de escuela. La proxima vez volvimos al castillo lo fue destruido y todo estaba tirado.

Argentina’s southern tip is next to Antarctica so they receive a lot of snowfall. The food of Argentina is also very diverse and has European, indigenous and Creole influences. Some popular dishes include chorizo, locro (a dish having a mixture of corn, beans, meat, bacon, onion, and gourds), empanadas, and facture (a Viennese style pastry). The unofficial national beverage of Argentina is yerba mate. Argentina also has the world’s highest consumption of red meat. Because of Argentina’s natural beauty there are many nature parks in the country but two of the most popular are the Parque Nacional Iguazu and the Parque Nacional Los Glacieres. The Parque Nacional Iguazu features the beautiful Iguazu river, home to a variety of animals, including jaguars. The main attraction of the park is the Iguazu Falls. At Parque Nacional Los Glacieres you can look out to Antartica and see (and hear) the enormous glaciers, such as Glacier Perito Moreno. In Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital city, one of the main attractions is the Cemeterio de la Recoleta. This cemetery was the cemetery of the elite. Many former presidents, military heroes, and other famous national figures are buried here. Argentina’s culture has a strong influence from the Roman Catholic religion so the country is home to many beautiful cathedrals. The Basilica in Concepcion is one of these.
Entry C: Black Swan is a movie directed by Darren Aronofsky that came out this year. This movie is about a young ballerina named Nina who has just received the starring role in her ballet company’s first production. She must play the part of two characters whose personalities are very different. One is innocent and kind like she is but the other is a darker character who is evil and manipulative. The stress of trying to play two very different roles beings to make Nina go slightly crazy. There is another ballerina named Lily in Nina’s ballet company and Nina thinks she is a rival. Nina is obsessed with Lily and envious of her carefree personality. Nina’s mother put her under a lot of pressure to be a very famous ballerina, and Nina’s boss is always telling her she’s not good enough so she’s constantly anxious about failing everyone. As the movie goes on you can see Nina slowly losing her mind as she becomes more paranoid and anxious. Finally, she goes completely crazy at the end of the movie, which results in her being perfect during the opening night of the play but also leads to her own death.
Entry D: The book Call of the Wild was written in 1903 by Jack London. The book is written about a dog but it is written from the dog’s point of view. The dog, named Buck, is taken from his family to the Yukon. He is put to work pulling sleds. Buck begins to enjoy working in the cold north after several months but there are many parts in the book that show how violent life in the Yukon was for Buck. At one point Buck kills a rival dog. Buck learns to support himself in this hostile environment but does not have a family in the north until one man, John Thornton, saves him from death. At the end of the book Thornton is killed and Buck avenges himself on the murderers. After this Buck returns to the wild and lives with a pack of wolves.
Entry E: When I was young my best friend Kelsey and I spent most of our free time together. We were always going on adventures and creating imaginary worlds. One summer we decided to make a fort in a large tree near my house. We found abandoned furniture and carried it to our fort to make a kitchen. We took old curtains and put them up on the tree branches to make walls. After a few days of work we finally had a fort. At the end of the summer we couldn’t play in our fort as much anymore because of school. The next time we returned to the fort it was destroyed the fort and everything was thrown away.
Please help! I am lost in the morass of my Spanish ineptitude...
