This is the same word as the bad word that starts with P? They used it that way in the show, and our dictionary pans it out. Is it widely used like that? So it's not exclusively a bad word? Gracias.

"Pinche" is the technical word for a kitchen assistant and in this case it is not a "palabrota".

Is that a spanish word? I thought you were refering to an english word "pot" which isn't really bad.

Ha, but pots don't work. Is it because I said "pans it out"? ;) - jeezzle, May 1, 2011

Thanks Agora, I've been scolded a few times for using palabrotas without knowing that they were bad so I try to be careful. I assume it's used in Mexico too then, isn't that where you are from? Your location says, Mexico and USA.

Gracias
